Who Should Join?

  • Ages 13+: Anyone interested in learning Judo fundamentals, improving physical fitness, and gaining self-defense skills.

  • Ages 8+ (Wednesdays only): Children who want to start exploring the basics of Judo in a structured, safe environment.

What to Expect in Your First Class

Classes begin with a warm-up focusing on agility, flexibility, and coordination. You’ll be introduced to foundational techniques such as throws, holds, and grappling. Emphasis is placed on safety, discipline, and respect for both the practice and your training partners.

What to Wear

  • First Class and Beyond: Attire for all classes is a gi (uniform) and belt. If you don’t have one, we can assist you with ordering the appropriate gear.

  • Slides or Flip-Flops: Bring a pair for the bathroom (for hygiene purposes).

Gear Requirements

  • Gi (Uniform) and Belt: Required for all participants. Information on where to purchase can be provided upon enrollment.

Class Etiquette

  • Check in at the kiosk when you arrive.

  • Respect each other’s space by being mindful and showing care for training partners.

  • Wear your shoes to the bathroom for hygiene purposes.

  • Maintain focus during drills and respect your instructor’s guidance.
