Kids' Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is designed to teach children the foundations of self-defense, discipline, and confidence through fun and engaging techniques. In this class, children will learn how to control an opponent and execute submissions in a safe and structured environment.

Who Should Join?

Kids aged 7 to 12 who are interested in learning self-defense, improving their coordination, and building confidence in a fun and positive atmosphere. No prior experience is needed.

What to Expect in Your First Class

The class will begin with a warm-up that includes jiu-jitsu drills, followed by technique instruction and partner practice. Students will learn basic positions, escapes, and submissions while focusing on safety and respect.

What to Wear

  • First Class: Comfortable athletic clothing (e.g., shorts, leggings, t-shirt). No shoes are allowed on the mat.

  • Slides or Flip-Flops: Bring a pair for the bathroom (for hygiene purposes).

  • After Signing Up: You’ll need a gi (uniform) and belt, which are required for continued training.

Gear Requirements

  • Gi and Belt: Necessary for all students after their first class.

Class Etiquette

  • Check in at the kiosk upon arrival.

  • Respect your classmates and listen to your instructor.

  • Wear your shoes to the bathroom for hygiene reasons.
